Bring authors and writers to Appledore to speak and make presentations. Some celebrities always included as well as lesser known writers and up and coming writers. Arrange for authors and illustrators to talk at over 30 schools in the area. Organise walks and speakers from the local area to raise the profile of the North Devon area. Make as much use as possible of local facilities and traders.
