Maintain & manage Hexham Community Centre to provide offices for rent, rooms for hire & facilities to voluntary & Community groups in the Hexham & Tynedale Area. Also to facilitate two elderly persons groups and provide OFSTED registered Pre-school Playgroup, who now also facilitate the Parent & Toddler group held in the Community Centre.

TO PROMOTE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS WITHIN HEXHAM AND THE SURROUNDING DISTRICT WITHIN THE COUNTY OF NORTHUMBERLAND ('THE AREA OF BENEFIT') BY ASSOCIATING THE PUBLIC AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT, AND IN PARTICULAR TO PROMOTE EDUCATION, THE PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF HEALTH, THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS, AND THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS.
