THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ("THE OBJECTS") ARE TO PROMOTE THE PRESERVATION OF MENTAL HEALTH AND TO ASSIST IN RELIEVING AND REHABILITATING PERSONS SUFFERING FROM MENTAL DISORDER OR CONDITIONS OF EMOTIONAL OR MENTAL DISTRESS REQUIRING ADVICE OR TREATMENT IN THE TERRITORY OF LEWES DISTRICT COUNCIL AND WEALDEN DISTRICT COUNCIL AS DEFINED IN JULY 1997 AND SUCH OTHER AREAS AS THE DIRECTORS (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS "THE TRUSTEES") MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE.
