Charitable objects
(A) TO ADVANCE, PROMOTE AND EDUCATE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC GENERALLY ALL BRANCHES OF THE ARTS WITH PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVE REFERENCE TO THE PERFORMING, LITERARY AND DECORATIVE ARTS. (B) TO ADVANCE THE PRESERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF PICTURES, HISTORIC RECORDS, BOOKS, MANUSCRIPTS, MUNIMENTS, ARMOUR, PORCELAIN, SILVER AND GOLD OBJETS D'ART AND OTHER CHATTELS OR ITEMS OF ARTISTIC, HISTORIC OR NATIONAL INTEREST. (C) TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN A MUSEUM AND/OR ART GALLERY FOR THE DISPLAY AND PROMOTION OF THE ARTS WITH PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVE REFERENCE TO THE DECORATIVE AND MEDIEVAL ARTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC. (D) NOTWITHSTANDING THE ABOVE, TO SUPPORT OR CARRY OUT SUCH OTHER OBJECTS OR PURPOSES AS ARE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES.
