To encourage women over the age of 18 years to meeting together in fun, friendship and fellowship. Assist in the development and promotion of Women's Clubs in Cheshire & Merseyside.

Charitable objects
A) TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE WOMEN OF MERSEYSIDE & CHESHIRE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION, INCLUDING INFORMAL EDUCATION FOR WOMEN WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS. B) THE PROMOTION OF THE VOLUNTARY SECTOR FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE FOLLOWING MEANS: (A) IDENTIFYING NEED IN THE VOLUNTARY SECTOR AND ESTABLISHING PROJECTS, GROUPS OR POLICIES TO ADDRESS THEM; (B) LIAISING BETWEEN CHARITIES, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS, THE LOCAL AUTHORITY AND OTHER GROUPS OR ORGANISATION ON RELEVANT ISSUES THAT AFFECT MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY. IN THIS CONTEXT THE ‘VOLUNTARY SECTOR’ MEANS CHARITIES AND VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS: CHARITIES ARE ORGANISATIONS, WHICH ARE ESTABLISHED FOR EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES. VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS ARE INDEPENDENT ORGANISATIONS, WHICH ARE ESTABLISHED FOR PURPOSES THAT ADD VALUE TO THE COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE, OR A SIGNIFICANT SECTION OF THE COMMUNITY, AND WHICH ARE NOT PERMITTED BY THEIR CONSTITUTION TO MAKE A PROFIT FOR PRIVATE.
