1. TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND DISTRESS AMONG PERSONS WITHIN THE UNITED KINGDOM WHO HAVE SUFFERED THE SAME AS A RESULT OF ANY SERIOUS ROAD COLLISION AND THE FAMILIES OF SUCH PERSONS WHO ARE INJURED. 2. TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION AND AWARENESS BY RESEARCH INTO ISSUES RELATING TO THE VICTIMS OF ROAD TRAFFIC COLLISIONS AND THEIR FAMILIES, AND TO DISSEMINATE THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.
