Charitable objects
(1) THE PROMOTION OF THE ARTS, CULTURE, HERITAGE AND SCIENCE IN YORKSHIRE IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY MAKING GRANTS TO CHARITIES AND ORGANISATIONS THAT FURTHER ONE OR MORE OF THESE CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT.
(2) THE PROMOTION OF THE EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS OF CHARITIES AND THE EFFECTIVE USE OF RESOURCES FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES BY CHARITABLE AND NON-CHARITABLE BODIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC.
(3) THE PROMOTION OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT.
(4) THE FURTHERANCE OF SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN YORKSHIRE AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT (CHARITABLE UNDER ENGLISH LAW).
