Charitable objects
The company is established to:
1. Promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and sustainable development of the natural environment and the prudent use of resources;
2. Advance the education of the public about all matters in connection with the conservation, protection and sustainable development of the natural environment and the causes of environmental degradation or concern by conducting or commissioning research and publishing the results of such research; and
3. Carry out any other charitable purpose ancillary to or connected with the above purposes.
For the purpose of this clause, “sustainable development” means development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
