Charitable objects
1. TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF WALTHAM FOREST, IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, WOMEN AND CHILDREN FROM BLACK MINORITY ETHNIC (BME) BACKGROUNDS BY: A) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION; B) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY. C) THE PROVISION, IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE, OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THE BENEFICIARIES. D) PROMOTING SOCIAL INCLUSION BY WORKING WITH SOCIALLY EXCLUDED PEOPLE (IN PARTICULAR WOMEN AND CHILDREN FROM BME BACKGROUNDS) SO THEY CAN PLAY A FULLER PART IN THEIR COMMUNITIES SO THAT THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE MAY IMPROVE. 2. THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD BY PROVIDING GRANTS, ITEMS AND SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND/OR CHARITIES, OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY.
