TO ADVANCE THE MUSICAL EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY PROVIDING MUSICAL OPPORTUNITY, BOTH FORMAL AND INFORMAL, TO PERSONS UP TO THE AGE OF 25 IN EAST SUSSEX AND THE IMMEDIATE SURROUNDING AREA. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE.
