1. TO IMPROVE THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH AND EDUCATION AND RELIEVE THE POVERTY OF PEOPLE OF THE GREAT LAKES REGION OF AFRICA AND IN PARTICULAR THOSE IN THE AREA OF THE EASTERN DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO
2. SUCH OTHER PURPOSES AS ARE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE.
