THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: TO ADVANCE IN LIFE AND HELP SOCIALLY AND/OR ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND OVERSEAS BY IMPROVING THEIR TEAM WORK, CAPACITIES, COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND IMPROVING A RANGE OF OTHER SKILLS INCLUDING NUMERACY AND LITERACY. THE ABOVE WILL PRIMARILY BE ACHIEVED THROUGH THE SUPPORT OR USE OF LINK ORGANISATIONS (SCHOOLS, CHARITIES AND OTHER SIMILAR ORGANISATIONS) THAT WOULD ASSIST THE YOUNG PEOPLE THEMSELVES TO SET UP BUSINESS-STYLE PROJECTS, ALTHOUGH THESE PROJECTS WOULD NOT BE BUSINESSES IN THEIR OWN RIGHT.
