TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT GOOD HEALTH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY SUPPORTING AND DEVELOPING THE PALLIATIVE CARE SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION TO THE FOLLOWING:- CONSULTANCY •FEASIBILITY STUDIES AND NEEDS ASSESSMENTS RELATED TO PALLIATIVE CARE IN INSTITUTIONAL AND HOME-BASED SETTINGS. •RESEARCH, BY SUITABLY QUALIFIED PROFESSIONALS, TO SUPPORT THE ESTABLISHMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF PALLIATIVE CARE SERVICES. TRAINING •INTRODUCTION TO PALLIATIVE CARE. •HIGHER LEVEL PALLIATIVE CARE EDUCATION. •PAIN AND SYMPTOM MANAGEMENT. •CHILDREN’S PALLIATIVE CARE. •BEREAVEMENT AND FAMILY SUPPORT. •PALLIATIVE CARE AND HIV/AIDS. •USING THE PALLIATIVE CARE TOOLKIT. ADVOCACY AND MANAGEMENT •ADVOCACY AND CAMPAIGNING, EXCLUSIVELY IN PURSUIT OF THE ABOVE OBJECTIVES. •ORGANISATION DEVELOPMENT. •LEADERSHIP AND TEAM-BUILDING. •MAINTENANCE OF A WEBSITE, TO MAKE KNOWN OUR ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES TO POTENTIAL BENEFICIARIES, DONORS, AND PUBLIC BODIES. •PUBLICATION ON THE WEBSITE OF ANY USEFUL RESULTS ARISING FROM ANY RESEARCH SUPPORTED / UNDERTAKEN BY THE ORGANISATION.
