Charitable objects
THE CHARITY’S OBJECTS (‘THE OBJECTS’) ARE TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CHRISTADELPHIAN AMENDED STATEMENT OF FAITH BY: A) THE HOLDING OF SERVICES AND OTHER EVENTS FOR WORSHIP, PRAYER, FELLOWSHIP AND THE PREACHING OF THE GOSPEL; B) PROVIDING RELIGIOUS TEACHING, PUBLICATIONS AND OTHER REFERENCE MATERIALS; C) THE PROVISION OF PASTORAL CARE; D) ENGAGEMENT WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY ACROSS ALL AGES THROUGH A RANGE OF OUTREACH ACTIVITIES AND BY MAKING THE CHURCH HALL AVAILABLE FOR LOCAL COMMUNITY USES WHICH ARE CONSISTENT WITH CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES; E) SUPPORTING THE ADVANCEMENT OF HEALTH AND SAVING LIVES AND THE PREVENTION AND RELIEF OF POVERTY IN A MANNER CONSISTENT WITH CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES EITHER DIRECTLY, WHERE APPROPRIATE, OR MORE USUALLY VIA DONATIONS AND OTHER ASSISTANCE TO LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CHARITIES; F) SUPPORTING OVERSEAS AID AND FAMINE RELIEF VIA DONATIONS AND OTHER ASSISTANCE TO LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CHARITIES WHO WORK IN A MANNER CONSISTENT WITH CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES. THE CHARITY AIMS TO PROVIDE THESE BENEFITS TO MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH, MEMBERS OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC, PRIMARILY WITHIN THE LOCAL AREAS OF GATESHEAD, SUNDERLAND AND SOUTH TYNESIDE, BUT WITH A REACH THAT EXTENDS TO NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL LEVELS THROUGH OUR INVOLVEMENT WITH AND DONATIONS TO OTHER CHARITIES.
