THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS THE RELIEF OF PERSONS IN NEED WHO FALL WITHIN THE DEFINITION OF POTENTIAL BENEFICIARIES BELOW BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS, RESOURCES, EQUIPMENT OR OTHER SUPPORT FOR THEIR PERSONAL NEEDS AND/OR FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF TRAINING AND EDUCATION OF SUCH POTENTIAL BENEFICIARIES. "POTENTIAL BENEFICIARIES" MEANS INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE BEEN PLAYERS OR STAFF AT A RUGBY CLUB WITHIN THE GEOGRAPHIC AREA OF THE CARDIFF BLUES REGION (INCLUDING CARDIFF BLUES) AND ARE IN NEED AS A RESULT OF AN INJURY PLAYING RUGBY, OTHER PHYSICAL OR MENTAL ILLNESS OR DISABILITY, OLD AGE OR POVERTY.
