TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT GOOD HEALTH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF THOSE SUFFERING CRITICAL ILLNESS BY CARRYING OUT RESEARCH TO:- 1. UNDERSTAND THE DETAILED PATHOPHYSIOLOGY OF THE HUMAN BODY IN CRITICAL ILLNESS OF ALL TYPES; 2. ENABLE US TO ALTER PRESENT TREATMENT PATTERNS TO IMPROVE SURVIVAL OF ALL PATIENTS WITH LIFE-THREATENING ILLNESS; 3. ENABLE THE DEVELOPMENT OF NOVEL THERAPIES; 4. IMPROVE MORBIDITY AND MORTALITY IN PATIENTS UNDERGOING MAJOR SURGERY; 5. IMPROVE UNDERSTANDING OF MAJOR MEDICAL CONDITIONS TO PREVENT COMPLICATIONS; AND 6. TO PUBLISH ALL USEFUL RESEARCH RESULTS IN WORLDWIDE PEER REVIEWED MEDICAL AND SCIENTIFIC JOURNALS.
