To prevent or relieve poverty in Derbyshire by: (i) Offering welfare/benefits rights advice/representation.(ii) Promoting employment/welfare rights (iii) Conducting/publishing the results of research (iv) Providing a resource service on welfare/benefit rights. Also to recruit/train local volunteers to increase skills/self-confidence and assist the work of the Centres.
