TO PAY OR APPLY THE ANNUAL INCOME THEREOF IN THE FIRST PLACE TO PROVIDE THE MUSEUM (TOGETHER WITH APPROPRIATE FACILITIES ANCILLARY THERETO) FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC THROUGH THE DISPLAY AND DISSEMINATION THEREAT OF INFORMATION ABOUT THE LIFE AND WORK OF CAPTAIN JAMES COOK AND ABOUT THE COUNTRIES WHICH HE DISCOVERED AND VISITED AND SUBJECT THERETO TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS AND MAKE GRANTS AND DO SUCH OTHER THINGS AS THEY MAY IN THEIR DISCRETION DETERMINE FOR THE PURPOSE OF ADVANCING THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE AFORESAID SUBJECTS.
