IN FURTHERANCE OF CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED BY REASON OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY, UNEMPLOYMENT, WAR OR NATURAL DISASTER AND SUCH OTHER SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC DISADVANTAGE, INCLUDING (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) SUCH PERSONS LIVING IN NORTH AFRICA.
