Charitable objects
THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: (1) TO PROVIDE, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF HARPENDEN AND THE PUBLIC AT LARGE, A RECREATIONAL PLAY AREA WHICH INCLUDES A SKATEPARK, SUITABLE FOR SKATEBOARDS, BMX, SCOOTERS, ROLLER SKATES/BLADES AND WHEELCHAIR MOTORCROSS (WCMX), FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES, IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE FOR THE PERSONS FOR WHOM THEY ARE INTENDED.
