TO USE THE COMBINED POWER OF THE CHRISTIAN CHURCHES TO STRENGTHEN THEIR LIFE AND WORK AMONG THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF COVENTRY AND THE COUNTY OF WARWICKSHIRE. A. TO DEEPEN, WIDEN AND INTENSIFY THE CORPORATE CHRISTIAN LIFE OF THE PEOPLE IN THE CHRISTIAN CONGREGATIONS, B. TO ENCOURAGE THE CHURCH IN ITS WORK OF EVANGELISM, C. TO RELATE THE LIFE OF CHURCH TO EVERY ASPECT OF SOCIETY D. TO STRENGTHEN THE CO-OPERATION BETWEEN CHRISTIAN CHURCHES E. TO SUPPORT AND WORK TOWARDS THE COMPLETE RE-UNION OF ALL CHRISTIAN COMMUNIONS.
