Charitable objects
TO ADVANCE EDUCATION, TO RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE GOOD HEALTH OF CHILDREN IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES, AS WELL AS THE NETHERLANDS AND UNITED KINGDOM BY:- - PROVIDING SUPPORT FOR SUSTAINABLE PROJECTS WHICH FOCUS ON THE FOLLOWING KEY AREAS: EDUCATION; HEALTHCARE; HYGIENE AND CLEAN WATER; HOUSING AND FAMILY SUPPORT; - PROMOTING SELF-SUFFICIENCY AND ENTREPRENEURIAL VALUES IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITIES WHERE OUR PROJECTS ARE BASED; - INVOLVING PARENTS, TEACHERS AND MEMBERS OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITIES IN THE PROJECTS WE SUPPORT; AND - PROVIDING FUNDING FOR OUR AFFILIATED DUTCH CHARITABLE FOUNDATION ALTERNATIVES 4 CHILDREN, WHICH WILL ADMINISTER THE GRANTS FOR THE PROJECTS. [NOTHING IN THE ARTICLES SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CHARITY FOR PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND)ACT 2005 AND/OR SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.].
