Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE SOCIETY SHALL BE THE FOSTERING OF INTEREST IN AND PROMOTION OF THE STUDY OF NATURAL SCIENCE, LITERATURE AND ART FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN CHESTER AND THE VICINITY THEREOF BY MEANS OF THE FORMATION OF SECTIONS, BY LECTURES, FIELD MEETINGS, COMPETITIONS AND BY OTHER SUITABLE MEANS.
