THE RELIEF AND ASSISTANCE OF POOR AND NEEDY PERSONS IRRESPECTIVE OF COLOUR RACE OR CREED AND FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION INCLUDING THE ALLEVIATION OF POVERTY AMONG AND RE-TRAINGING OF UNEMPLOYED PERSONS AND FOR ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS ARE BENEFICIAL TO THE COMMUNITY IN THE DIOCESE OF LIVERPOOL AND FOR THE BENEFIT OF SUCH INSTITUTIONS AND SOCIETIES AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME SELECT.
