TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION WITHIN THE COMMUNITY OF TRURO AND ITS SURROUNDING AREA BY PROVIDING FACILITIES TO PARTICIPATE IN PADDLE SPORTS, PRINCIPALLY KAYAKING AND CANOEING, BOTH RECREATIONALLY AND COMPETITIVELY.
