THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO PROMOTE THE SOCIAL INCLUSION, RESETTLEMENT AND REHABILITATION OF OFFENDERS, EX-OFFENDERS, AND THOSE AT RISK OF OFFENDING FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY: 1. PROVIDING EDUCATION AND TRAINING TO ASSIST IN FINDING EMPLOYMENT AND REINTEGRATING INTO SOCIETY; AND 2. UNDERTAKING OR COMMISSIONING RESEARCH, PROJECTS, AND EVENTS AS MAY ASSIST IN CREATING NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR THEN BENEFICIARIES.
