THE OBJECTS OF THE FOUNDATION ARE TO PROMOTE, BY MEANS OF THE MAKING OF GRANTS OR BY ANY OTHER ACTS WHICH THE TRUSTEES CONSIDER APPROPRIATE IN PURSUIT OF THE OBJECTS: (A) THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED BY REASON OF YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, POVERTY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES BY PROMOTING AND SUPPORTING THE PROVISION OF HOUSING AND RENTED ACCOMMODATION IN ORDER TO MEET THEIR NEEDS AND, WHERE APPROPRIATE, HELP THEM IN BECOMING INDEPENDENT.
