THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO ADVANCE CHARITABLE PURPOSES, AS PERTAINS TO THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES, IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY AND TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF THE MEMBERS OF SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITIES WITHIN THE STOCKPORT, CHESHIRE AND GREATER MANCHESTER AREAS THROUGH THE PROVISION OF GRANTS TO REGISTERED CHARITIES WITHIN THESE REGIONS WHO ARE FOCUSED ON FURTHERING CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT.
