THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ORTHODOX CHRISTIAN RELIGION BY PROCURING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A PARISH OR PARISHES OF PERSONS AT BATH, SOMERSET OR ELSEWHERE AND BY PROMOTING AND ENCOURAGING A KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE THEOLOGY, SPIRITUALITY, LITURGICAL ARTS AND LIFE OF THE ORTHODOX CHURCH AMONG BOTH ORTHODOX CHRISTIANS AND THE PUBLIC AT LARGE.
