THE OBJECTS OF THE MOSQUE ARE TO ADVANCE THE ISLAMIC FAITH FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN ACCORDANCE WITH AL-QURAN AND THE SUNNAH OF THE PROPHET MUHAMMED (PEACE BE UPON HIM) BY : - A) PROVIDING ISLAMIC FAITH-CENTRED ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY IN WOKING AND ITS ENVIRONS SUCH AS COMMUNAL PRAYERS, PUBLIC CELEBRATION OF RELIGIOUS FESTIVALS EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER ACTIVITIES TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE MUSLIM COMMUNITY; B) TO PROMOTE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF ISLAM AND ITS TRUE SPIRIT AMONGST MUSLIMS AND THE WIDER COMMUNITY IN GENERAL; AND C) TO MAINTAIN AND PROMOTE THE ORIGINAL MOSQUE IN WOKING ESTABLISHED IN 1889 AS THE FIRST PURPOSE-BUILT MOSQUE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM.
