THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: (1) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE APPRECIATION AND PRACTICE OF MUSIC IN ALL ITS ASPECTS BY THE PROVISION, PRIMARILY IN GRAYSHOTT, OF PUBLIC CONCERTS AND RECITALS AND BY SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME APPROVE; AND (2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION, TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT OF COMPOSERS, MUSICIANS AND SINGERS BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS, AWARDS, DONATIONS AND SUCH OTHER FINANCIAL OR OTHER SUPPORT AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME APPROVE
