THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PROCLAIMING THE GOSPEL OF GOD CONCERNING HIS SON JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND THE PREACHING AND TEACHING OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN ACCORDANCE WITH OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH (APPENDIX A) ATTACHED HERETO AND ASSISTING WITH THE RELIEF OF POVERTY. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008].
