Charitable objects
The objects of the CIO are for the public benefit the provision of facilities and activities for the recreation and other leisure time occupation of children or young people resident in and around Oxford (hereinafter called the area of benefit), the facilities and activities being:
(a) those of which the children or young people have need by reason of their youth or social and economic circumstances; and
(b) those which will improve the conditions of life for such children or young people by promoting their physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
