THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: (1) THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ART OF DANCE AND THEATRE, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH THE COMMISSIONING AND PRODUCTION OF PUBLIC PERFORMANCES AND MATERIAL, USING FILM, MUSIC, VISUAL ARTS AND OTHER THEATRE-RELATED ART FORMS AS WELL AS WORKSHOPS AND TRAINING THAT ENCOURAGE HIGH STANDARDS IN THE ARTS. (2) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN THE ARTS IN ENGLAND AND WALES THROUGH FORMAL AND COMMUNITY EDUCATION, TRAINING, DANCE SESSIONS, WORKSHOPS AND EDUCATION EVENTS.
