Charitable objects
3.1 THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO FURTHER MEDICAL EDUCATION, MEDICAL RESEARCH AND MEDICAL PRACTICE AT THE UNIVERSITY AND IN PARTICULAR BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING: 3.1.1 PROVIDE GRANTS INCLUDING BURSARIES AND SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS; 3.1.2 PROVIDE TEACHING FACILITIES AND MEDICAL EQUIPMENT; AND 3.1.3 PROVIDE AMENITIES AND FACILITIES FOR STUDENTS AND STAFF ENGAGED IN MEDICAL RESEARCH AT THE UNIVERSITY OR AT HOSPITALS, PLACES OF EDUCATION OR OTHER ESTABLISHMENTS AS SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME BE USED FOR THE INSTRUCTION OF STUDENTS BY THE UNIVERSITY.
