THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF A SWIMMING POOL FOR THE USE OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA COMPRISING THE TOWN OF THIRSK AND THE PARISH OF SOWERBY (HEREINAFTER CALLED "THE AREA OF BENEFIT") WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS.
