Charitable objects
1) TO ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE THE STUDY OF, AND RESEARCH INTO, LOCAL HISTORY: 2) TO OWN MAINTAIN AND MANAGE THE MUSEUM AT HAMPTON COTTAGE, 64 CHURCH STREET, LEATHERHEAD, THE MAINTAINING OF ARTEFACTS, ARCHIVES AND THE RECORDS OF THE HISTORY SOCIETY FOR THE PARISHES OF ASHTEAD, FETCHAM, GREAT AND LITTLE BOOKHAM, LEATHERHEAD AND THE SURROUNDING DISTRICT FOR CURRENT AND FUTURE GENERATIONS 3) TO PUBLISH BOOKS AND OTHER MATERIALFOR THE BENEFIT OF THE HISTORY SOCIETY AND PUBLIC INTEREST.
