Charitable objects
CLOTHING ONE POOR MAN AND ONE POOR WIDOW TO BE CHOSEN OUT OF THE MOST ANCIENT AND MOST NEEDY INHAITANTS OF NORTON AND SUCH AS SHOULD MOST FREQUNTLY ATTEND THE PARISH CHURCH AND RECEIVE THE SACRAMENT THERE ON THE THREE GREAT FEASTS OF THE YEAR OR APPLY THE WHOLE OR ANY PORTION THEREOF FOR THE BENEFIT EITHER OF THE POOR OF THE SAID PARISH OF NORTON GENERALLY, OR OF SUCH DERSERVING AND NECESSITOUS PERSONS RESIDENT THEREIN AS THE TRUSTEES SELECT FOR THIS PURPOSE, AND IN SUCH WAY AS THEY CONSIDER MOST ADVANTAGEOUS TO THE RECIPIENTS, AND MOST CONDUCIVE TO THE FORMATION OF PROVIDENT HABITS.
