Charitable objects
FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO PROMOTE THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION, AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT OF THE THREE BAYS WILDLIFE AREA (DEFINED AS SPIT BEACH (SX075524) TO WEST PORTHOLLAND (SW957410) ITS ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS AND RIVER CATCHMENT AREAS IN-BETWEEN), IN PARTICULAR BY: (A) SURVEYING AND MONITORING THE NATURAL CAPITAL OF THE THREE BAYS AREA TO BETTER UNDERSTAND PROTECT AND CONSERVE THE CURRENT ENVIRONMENT, AND ENSURING THE USEFUL RESULTS OF ANY SUCH RESEARCH IS DISSEMINATED TO THE PUBLIC. (B) DELIVERING CONSERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS WORKING WITH OTHER ORGANISATIONS, BUSINESSES AND OTHER KEY LOCAL STAKEHOLDERS TO COMPLEMENT THEIR INITIATIVES, IN ORDER TO ENHANCE THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT. (C) ENGAGING LOCAL PEOPLE, ORGANISATIONS, BUSINESSES AND OTHER KEY LOCAL STAKEHOLDERS BY INVOLVING THEM IN WIDE-RANGING BIODIVERSITY PROJECTS, FROM EDUCATION, DISCOVERY AND DATA COLLECTION TO PRACTICAL ACTIVITIES. (D) SEEKING TO INFORM BOTH LOCAL, COUNTY AND NATIONAL POLICY AND PRACTICE IN FAVOUR OF WILDLIFE INTERESTS PROVIDED THAT THE TRUSTEES ARE SATISFIED THAT THE PROPOSED ACTIVITIES WILL FURTHER THE PURPOSES OF THE CHARITY TO AN EXTENT JUSTIFIED BY THE RESOURCES COMMITTED AND THE ACTIVITY IS NOT THE DOMINANT MEANS BY WHICH THE CHARITY CARRIES OUT ITS OBJECTS.
