TO PROMOTE THE PERMANENT PRESERVATION OF THE TOWER MILL AT BEGGARS LANE,STONE CROSS,PEVENSEY, IN THE PARISH OF WESTHAM AFORESAID KNOWN AS STONE CROSS MILL ( HEREAFTER REFERRED TO AS THE MILL) AS A BUILDING OF HISTORIC AND ARCHITECTURAL INTEREST FOR THE EDUCATION AND FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC GENERALLY AND ESPECIALLY THE INHABITANTS OF STONE CROSS AND THE SURROUNDING AREA.
