A) TO ENCOURAGE HIGH STANDARDS OF ARCHITECTURE AND TOWN PLANNING. B) TO STIMULATE PUBLIC INTEREST IN AND CARE FOR THE BEAUTY, HISTORY AND CHARACTER OF THE SOUTHERN SECTION OF THE CONSERVATION AREA DESIGNATED THE THURLOE ESTATE AND SMITH'S CHARITY ESTATE CONSERVATION AREA BY THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA ON 30 JULY 1968. C) TO ENCOURAGE THE PRESERVATION, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF FEATURES OF GENERAL PUBLIC AMENITY OR HISTORIC INTEREST. D) TO TAKE ALL OTHER STEPS TO PROTECT AND ADVANCE THE INTERESTS OF PERSONS LIVING WITHIN THE NEIGBOURHOOD.
