TO RELIEVE PATIENTS FORMER PATIENTS AND STAFF OF CHRISTCHURCH HOSPITAL WHO ARE SICK INFIRM CONVALESCENT DISABLED HANDICAPPED OR IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND GENERALLY TO SUPPORT THE CHARITABLE WORK OF THE SAID HOSPITAL.
