CONSTITUTION ADOPTED 17TH SEPTEMBER 2000, AS AMENDED 17TH DECEMBER 2000
(A) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC (IN PARTICULAR THE INHABITANTS OF CAMBRIDGESHIRE AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS) IN INDIAN CULTURAL HERITAGE, THE BENGALI LANGUAGE AND OTHER SUBJECTS. (B) TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES OF THE RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION OF THE INHABITANTS OF CAMBRIDGESHIRE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECTS OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS. (C) TO RELIEVE PERSONS WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS.
