THE AIMS OF THE ASSOCIATION SHALL BE:- A. TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE VILLAGES SERVED BY THE NEWICK PRACTICE (HEREINAFTER CALLED THE AREA OF BENEFITã) WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINION BY ASSOCIATING THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS. B. TO ESTABLISH A COMMUNITY CENTRE AND TO MAINTAIN AND MANAGE (OR TO CO-OPERATE WITH ANY LOCAL AUTHORITY IN THE MAINTENANCE AND MANAGEMENT OF) A CENTRE FOR ACTIVITIES PROMOTED BY THE ASSOCIATION AND ITS CONSTITUENT BODIES IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE OBJECTS. C. TO PROVIDE SUPPORT OF ELDERLY AND DISABLED PERSONS RESIDING IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT BY PROVIDING A DAY CENTRE SERVICE TO PROMOTE THEIR PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL WELLBEING, AND THEREBY TO ALSO PROVIDE RELIEF FOR THEIR CARERS. D. THE ASSOCIATION WILL NOT UNLAWFULLY, UNFAIRLY OR UNREASONABLY DISCRIMINATE OR TREAT ANY INDIVIDUAL LESS FAVOURABLY ON THE GROUNDS OF SEX, MARITAL STATUS, RACE, DISABILITY, COLOUR, AGE, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, NATIONALITY OR ETHNIC NATIONAL ORIGIN.
