THE OBJECTS FOR WHICH THE CHARITY IS ESTABLISHED ("THE OBJECTS") ARE (1) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN: (A) THE ISLAMIC FAITH AND ITS VARIOUS TRADITIONS AND THE CUSTOMS OF MUSLIM COMMUNITIES; AND (B) THE GOVERNMENT, ECONOMICS, POLITICS, LAW, ADMINISTRATION AND SOCIAL SCIENCES OF THE COUNTRIES OF THE UNITED KINGDOM AND THE EUROPEAN UNION; AND (C) DEMOCRACY AND, IN PARTICULAR, SECULAR DEMOCRACY; (2) TO PROMOTE EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY : (A) PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF TRAINING AND EDUCATION SO AS TO CREATE A CLIMATE IN WHICH RELIGIOUS, ETHNIC, CULTURAL AND OTHER FORMS OF DIVERSITY (IN PARTICULAR THOSE RELATING TO THE ISLAMIC COMMUNITIES) CAN BE CELEBRATED WITHOUT FEAR OF PERSECUTION; (B) REPRESENTING A RANGE OF VIEWS INCLUDING THOSE OF THE VARIOUS MUSLIM COMMUNITIES TO POLICY MAKERS, FUNDERS, SERVICE PROVIDERS AN OTHER AGENCIES; (C) TO PROMOTE RELIGIOUS HARMONY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY EDUCATING MUSLIMS, CHRISTIANS, HINDUS, JEWS, SIKHS AND ADHERENTS TO OTHER RELIGIONS AND SYSTEMS OF BELIEF (AS RECOGNISED FOR THE PURPOSES OF ARTICLES 9 OF THE EUROPEAN CONVENTION ON HUMAN RIGHTS AND FUNDAMENTAL FREEDOMS), AGNOSTICS, SECULARISTS, HUMANISTS TO APPRECIATE EACH OTHERS DISTINCTIVE BELIEFS AND PRACTICES, AND (D) PROMOTING EDUCATION AND RESEARCH LEADING TO RESPECT FOR RELIGIOUS DIFFERENCES BETWEEN FAITHS AND SYSTEMS OF BELIEF. 3(3) TO ADVANCE CITIZENSHIP BY ENCOURAGING PARTICIPATION IN THE DEMOCRATIC PROCESS AND SO AS TO DEVELOP AN INCLUSIVE, PLURALISTIC AND MULTI FAITH SOCIETY.
