3. THE FOUNDATION'S OBJECTS ("THE OBJECTS") ARE 3(1) TO ADVANCE AND PROMOTE THE EDUCATION (INCLUDING SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING) OF ORPHANS AND PERSONS WHOSE PARENTS ARE UNEMPLOYED UNDER THE AGE OF 30 YEARS IN ANY OF THE 17 LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREAS OF ABIA STATE OF NIGERIA IN SUCH WAYS AS THE FOUNDATION DIRECTORS DEEM FIT, INCLUDING BY: 3.1.1 AWARDING TO SUCH PERSONS SCHOLARSHIPS, MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES, RESOURCES ALLOWANCES OR GRANTS TENABLE AT ANY UNIVERSITY, COLLEGE OR INSTITUTION OF HIGHER OR FURTHER EDUCATION; 3.1.2 PROVIDING THEIR EDUCATION (LIMITED TO THE STUDY OF MEDICINE, DENTISTRY, NURSING, ACCOUNTANCY AND LAW), TO UNDERTAKE TRAVEL IN FURTHERANCE OF THAT EDUCATION OR TO PREPARE FOR ENTRY TO ANY OCCUPATION, TRADE OR PROFESSION ON LEAVING ANY EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT. 3.1.3TO ASSIST IN SUCH WAYS AS THE FOUNDATION DIRECTORS THINK FIT ANY CHARITY IN ABIA STATE OF NIGERIA WHOSE AIMS INCLUDE ADVANCING EDUCATION OF PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 30 YEARS BY DEVELOPING THEIR MENTAL, PHYSICAL AND MORAL CAPABILITIES THROUGH LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES. 3(2)THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION OF HEALTH AMONG PEOPLE INDIGENOUS TO ISIUKWUATO LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF ABIA STATE OF NIGERIA BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES, SUPPORT SERVICES AND EQUIPMENT NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES. 3(3) THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY IN THE 17 LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREAS OF ABIA STATE OF NIGERIA FOR PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 60 YEARS BY PROVIDING: CREDIT FACILITIES THROUGH A MICRO FINANCE BANK TO BE ESTABLISHED BY THE FOUNDATION, GRANTS, ITEMS AND SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND ALL THE NECESSARY SUPPORT DESIGNED TO ENABLE THE INDIVIDUALS AND SMALL BUSINESSES TO GENERATE A SUSTAINABLE INCOME AND BE SELF SUFFICIENT. 3(4)TO FULFIL SUCH OTHER PURPOSES AS ARE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES AND ARE CONNECTED WITH THE CHARITABLE WORK OF THE FOUNDATION.
