(A) TO PROMOTE AND ADVANCE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF PERSONS EMPLOYED OR INTENDING TO BE EMPLOYED IN THE HOSPITALITY, LEISURE, TRAVEL AND TOURISM INDUSTRIES (EACH AN "INDUSTRY") (TOGETHER THE "SECTOR") BOTH IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND ELSEWHERE. (B) TO UNDERTAKE AND PROMOTE USEFUL RESEARCH INTO ANY MATTERS RELATING TO THE TRAINING FOR EMPLOYMENT IN THE SECTOR AND TO PUBLISH AND DISSEMINATE ANY USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT.
