FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AND FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM OR ELSEWHERE DURING SUCH PERIOD AS THE COMPANY MAY THINK FIT AND IN PARTICULAR TO PROMOTE THE APPLICATION OF THE EDUCATION 2000 TRUST FUND TO UNIVERSITIES, SCHOOLS OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS OF AN EDUCATIONAL CHARACTER FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES OR OTHER CHARITABLE TRUSTS OR CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS HAVING IN THE OPINION OF THE COMPANY THE OBJECT OF ADVANCING EDUCATION IN SUCH AMOUNTS AS THE COMPANY SHALL THINK FIT
