(2) TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THROUGH THE PROMOTION OF WASTE REDUCTION, RE-USE, RECLAMATION AND RECYCLING OF WASTE MATERIALS AND THE BENEFITS OF SUSTAINABLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION.
