(A) TO PROMOTE THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, SICKNESS AND OF THE DISTRESS ARISING THEREFOR AMONGST THE INHABITANTS OF NORTH EAST COVENTRY (B) AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTS OF IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS
